The 1:0 Germany victory means that Ryan wins, and gets £38.

Jonathan picks up 2nd place (£11), with Amy jumping over Thomas in the last game to beat him to a whole fiver!

Well, if I hadn't changed my prediction yesterday, I'd have been walking away with third place!

A 3:0 win for Holland keeps Ryan at the top and is now 5 points clear - Only a terrible result for him tonight can stop the title going his way.

Jonathan stays second, but Thomas jumps 2 places into 3rd, going ahead of Amy on the tie-breaker rule.

The top 2 to 7 all are still realistically in with a shot of winning something - Not a bad place for them to be after 64 games.

Well that didn't work for me, so I'll try again by changing my prediction for tonight as well!!! Am going for a 1:0 Argentina win with Messi to score the winner - That should mean that the Germans win comfortably then!!!

Never one to gloat, but I've always disliked Brazil - For them to lose like that tonight, in Brazil as well, was fantastic!

Anyway, surprisingly enough, no-one correctly predicted the result, but there was some movement in the table with Amy taking 3rd position - Not bad having predicted the semis before the ties were known and jetting off to Florida!

Games are on Tuesday and Wednesday, but I don't know which game is on which day.

My predictions are same for both my teams :

Brazil 0 Germany 1

Holland 1 Argentina 1

2nd 2 QF's - No one predicted the Costa Rica scoreline correctly, but 3 people did predict 1:0 to Argentina.

This means Ryan is now the overall leader 2 points clear of Jonathan, with Thomas in 3rd place, with 4 games to go.

Amy's other team was another big mover jumping 12 places to 9th and Ruth moved up 12 spots into 13th.

The bottom 3 now can't technically make the prize money placings, but still feel free to precict the remaining games if you wish :-)

This means that only 4 points separate the top 6, and only 1 point separating places 2 to 6, with Amy moving back into contention.

First 2 knockout game -

After the first 2 knockout games, it's all change at the top :

Ryan jumps 13 places into 1st with both results spot on, Clare loses out with her long time leaders dropping 4 places, but is still only 5 points off the pace.

Jag in Group H has also jumped a massive number of places - 15, from 21st to 6th, and Amy and Clare have got off the bottom of the table with their teams from group D that had just 7 points each.

I'm not going to mention that I am in 2nd spot as no doubt that would make sure my future predictions were wrong! :-)

Group F starts us off today

Argentina score, quickly followed by Nigeria, so when Bosnia also score, this gives us a top 3 of Oliver, Tesh, and JackB (all were in qualifying positions before the start, but Ryan and Thomas are currently missing out from where they were at the start of the day.

But Messi does it again 2:1 - now Oliver goes from first to 8th in a blinck of a free kick! and Ryan profits by going into 3rd

Goal for Nigeria straight away keeps the top 3 the same and Oliver jumps back into joint 3rd

Next up - Group C - Jag is sitting pretty with 17 points so far but the rest could all change depending on what happens - lets see! Mind you, what are the chances of Greece scoring???

With both matches again at kick off obviously being 0:0, the top 3 remain in the playoffs along with Ruth, but to cast a shadow over proceedings again, surely that won't stay the same (goalless) for long???

Colombia go 1 goal up on Japan and this cements Jag's position, but Amy and myself are also in joint 3rd now. (6 currently qualifying)

THEN GREECE SCORE!!!! (just as I'd changed my prediction before the game as well because they couldn't score in a wotsit!!!!) :-(

Group A RESULTS :

Clare, JackG and Robin were in the top 3 spots before tonights 2 games, and at half time, all 3 were still in the top 3 spots.

When Brazil scored a third, it meant that Leigh had gone above Robin into third place (Fight in the Haw household!!!)

I was hoping for a Croatia goal (to put me through) then Mexico scored!, which also put Helen into Joint 3rd, but when they got their 2nd goal, Leigh dropped out (No laughing Robin!!!)

A croatia goal when 2:0 down would have also had Oliver qualifying in joint 3rd but a goal line clearance stopped that happening with 12 minutes to go and them Mexico scored again keeping Clare, JackG and Helen in the top 3 spots.

A 4th Brazil goal would have Robin and Thomas knocking Helen out of the 3rd spot...... and this happened with 5 minutes to play!

Which meant only either a Croatia or a Cameroon goal would then alter the tables further.....

Leigh, Ruth and Julie were in the playoff positions prior to this game BUT, it's all change at the top.

Out of nowhere, Jonathan got both the Holland and the Spain result spot on and jumped from 13th to Joint 2nd
